Back To School Time
We extend best wishes to our Schools Communities at Scoil Bhride Girls School, St. Fintan’s Boys School, Clonenagh National School, Gael Scoil Thromaire and Mountrath community College as we get set to reopen for the new Schoool Year shortly. We extend a “Céad míle fáilte” to the children (and parents and families) who will be starting “Big School” for the first time. A big welcome back to all other pupils, parents and families, our teaching, cleaning and secretarial staff and all involved in the running of our schools.
Because of the continuing restrictions imposed on us due to the ongoing Covid 19 Pandemic we will be returning to school with exactly the same protocols and procedures in place as last year, with little or no change to the teaching and learning environment. Please God, this year will see an end to all these restrictions but in the meantime we will continue to be guided by the protocols and guidelines which are still in place and please God we will continue to do our best to keep each other safe and secure over the coming months. Sincere thanks to you and family for all your help and kind cooperaton as we continue to journey with, cope with and – live with – Covid 19.

Our school in Ballyfin got a serious makerover over the Summer months and some necessary repairs were carried out and is looking very good indeed. Thanks to all who made all this possible.
