Met Eireann has extended its Red Weather Alert to the entire State
as snow storms are expected to dump up to 40cm of snow
(16 Inches) - accompanied by high winds – and wind gusts
We are asked to remain indoors from 4.00 pm today Thursday 1st
March until 3.00 pm tomorrow – Friday 2nd March.
As regards us here in Mountrath -
The church here in Mountrath will be closed after Mass today
- Thursday 1st March
And will remain closed all day tomorrow, Friday.
Church will reopen at about midday on Saturday.
